Emerging Country singer-songwriter Hudson Rose releases debut single 'Never see Me Cry'
Rising country singer-songwriter Hudson Rose has delivered an exceptional debut single. Released on Friday 16th October, ‘Never See Me Cry’, co-written with fellow country artist Jackson James, tells the story about everyday situations. There are times when we don’t feel right in our own skin or even in our own home, and while we work through those things, sometimes we don’t want to show these raw emotions to other people. Just as every situation grows, builds and changes over time so does the song.
“Never See Me Cry is about the times when you can feel alone or not at home in your own home and how your life can change so quickly and unexpectedly. I think it’s something that people can relate to. It’s about letting things go, moving on and trying to be strong at the same time.” Hudson Rose
Hailing from NSW’s mid north coast, Hudson Rose has captivated audiences in her local area and went on to impress judges at the 2018 Tamworth Country Music Festival’s busking competition, where she was chosen out of hundreds to perform on the festival’s main stage as part of their Top 10. She returned the following year, to perform across various venues and gained a supporting slot for Queensland band Homegrown.
Earlier this year, Hudson Rose performed her first headline show in her hometown of Wingham and live streamed performances including supporting Rai Thistlewayte. (Thirsty Merc)
